Early Lead For Lancaster Depew Baseball Rebels 16U Seals Fate For Spartans Youth Baseball 16U


Spartans Youth Baseball 16U watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 12-0 loss to Lancaster Depew Baseball Rebels 16U on Saturday. Lancaster Depew Baseball Rebels 16U scored on a double by Kalen Czelusta, a double by Johnny Gignac, and a groundout by Nathan Rogowski in the first inning.


The Spartans Youth Baseball 16U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Lancaster Depew Baseball Rebels 16U, giving up 12 runs.


Lancaster Depew Baseball Rebels 16U got on the board in the first inning when Czelusta doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.


One bright spot for Spartans Youth Baseball 16U was a single by David Schnaufer in the second inning.


Duke Snyder toed the rubber for Spartans Youth Baseball 16U. The hurler surrendered nine runs on eight hits over two and a third innings, striking out four and walking zero. Austin Humphrey and Bryce Tallman entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.


Schnaufer, Humphrey, Ryan Fazio, and Owen Bentley each managed one hit to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 16U.
