Spartans Youth Baseball 14U Grabs Lead in Fourth Inning for Victory Over Lockport Storm 14u


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U took the lead late and defeated Lockport Storm 14u 6-3 on Tuesday. The game was tied at one with Spartans Youth Baseball 14U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Ronnie Muntz drew a walk, scoring one run.


In the bottom of the second inning, Spartans Youth Baseball 14U tied things up at one. Muntz singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Muntz drew a walk, scoring one run, Jaxon DelPriore singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, and Spartans Youth Baseball 14U scored on a stolen base during Duke Snyder's at bat. Then Snyder singled , driving in one.


Austin Humphrey led things off on the mound for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. The bulldog went five and a third innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out ten.


Deven Demberio was on the mound for Lockport Storm 14u. The hurler lasted three and a third innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out four. Perry threw one and two-thirds innings in relief.


Jayden Bridge led Spartans Youth Baseball 14U with three hits in three at bats. Spartans Youth Baseball 14U was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Leo Egloff had the most chances in the field with ten.
