Spartans Youth Baseball 14U's Early Lead Over Lewiston Lancers 14U

Sets Stage For Victory


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U jumped out to an early lead over Lewiston Lancers 14U and took home a 14-11 victory on Sunday. Spartans Youth Baseball 14U scored on a single by Trey Newton, a single by Brayden Lang, a single by Leo Egloff, a walk by Devon Wells, and a single by Jayden Bridge in the second inning.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U pulled away for good with seven runs in the second inning. In the second Newton singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Lang singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Egloff singled

on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Wells drew a walk, scoring one run, and Bridge singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.


David Schnaufer was on the hill for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. Schnaufer went three innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and striking out

eight. Spartans Youth Baseball 14U tallied 14 hits. Austin Humphrey, Jaxon DelPriore, Bridge, and Lang all collected multiple hits for Spartans Youth

Baseball 14U. Lang, Bridge, DelPriore, and Humphrey each collected two hits to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. Spartans Youth Baseball 14U was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Egloff made the most plays with ten.
