Spartans Youth Baseball 13U Clinches Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Cheektowaga Knights 13U


Spartans Youth Baseball 13U defeated Cheektowaga Knights 13U 12-8 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at eight with Spartans Youth Baseball 13U batting in the bottom of the sixth when Lucas H drew a walk, scoring one run.


The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. Spartans Youth Baseball 13U collected 14 hits and Cheektowaga Knights 13U had seven.


Spartans Youth Baseball 13U captured the lead in the first inning. Ryan S doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
